On Oct. 28 the members of the Faculty Council heard an update on new systems and information security.The council next meets on Nov. 18. The next meeting of the faculty is on Nov. 3. The preliminary deadline for the Dec. 1 meeting of the faculty is Nov. 10 at noon.

Driving Miss Daisy playwright Alfred Uhry’s previously reported, long in the works, musical adaptation of John Berendt’s Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil, is now eyeing a London run in 2015 prior to opening on Broadway. According to Deadline, Rob Ashford recently helmed a reading of the show with a cast that included Tony Goldwyn (TV’s Scandal), Leslie Uggams (On Golden Pond) and Michael Park (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof). A two-week workshop is now planned for September. Berendt’s 1994 best-selling non-fiction book chronicles his time in Savannah as the young Danny Hansford was murdered in the lavish mansion of his boss and lover Jim Williams. Since the Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil’s publication the Mercer Williams House, where the murder occurred, has become a famous tourist attraction. A film adaptation, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring John Cusack, Kevin Spacey and Jude Law, was released in 1997. View Comments Set in Savannah, Georgia in 1981, the murderous drama follows the eccentric citizens of the historic city as scandal sweeps through town when a well-liked antiques dealer allegedly kills a male prostitute. Composer and sound designer Mark Bennett is supervising the score, which will use classics and less well known American songs as well as some more contemporary gospel, blues and Southern rock. The reading’s cast also included Peter Cincotti, Jessica Molaskey, Michael Park and Jake Robinson.
Kia Joorabchian,agent for Barcelona’s Philipe Coutinho who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich has disclosed that his client has no preferred destination as far as a move to the Premier League is concerned.London based side Chelsea have over the past fortnight been pinpointed as front runners for his signature and also his preferred destination.However,Joorabchian who in the past has represented the likes of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano says where the Brazilian plays next will be largely dependent on the financial muscle of clubs when the Covid – 19 pandemic has passed.“Before the pandemic we had a long chat about it and of course the Premier League i something that he has always enjoyed playing in and probably would love to come back and play in.“But since the pandemic occurred we have never discussed where he would like to go.“Everything is a possibility.“What is going to be the financial situation conditions of all the clubs including Barcelona and all the Premier League clubs after the pandemic.“What is going to be the situation with regards to who can afford to take new transfers in,how the transfers will occur because every club will have a different position,” he stated in an interview with Skysports.
